• Act as QA lead on a wide variety of projects
• Continuously develop and socialize best practices for the design and development of robust and easily maintainable QA Automation Suites.
• Review functional test planning, manual testing and automation scripting work done by other QA team members to ensure adherence to the best practices
• Mentor junior team members in proper software engineering methods and techniques, and develop QA guidelines to ensure these methods are accessible to other QA Engineers

Experience Required:

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, back-end data testing and Data QA Automation

Job Specification:

• Proficient in SQL queries and Relational Database concepts
• Expertise in API testing, data workflow testing and detailed data verification testing
• Familiarity with Big Data testing and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL testing would be strong plus point
• Sound technical background, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
• A wholesome QA resource with an ability to put together test plan and test case scenarios, perform back-end manual testing as well as develop and manage robust QA automation suite to test back-end data
• Possess excellent problem-solving abilities
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable QA automation workflows
• Proficient in developing and implementing automated tests
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Good knowledge of a programming language - .NET or JAVA
• Proficiency in working with test automation tool like Selenium and load test tool like JMeter
• Proficient understanding of code versioning using SVN
