ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

Position: Infrastructure and WASH Officer (Based on Dhading until mid July 2020 with possible extension)
The main purpose of this position is to plan, design, communicate, supervise, share knowledge and monitor all construction works of Community Infrastructures i.e. Schools and community Water Supply Schemes, User friendly Toilets and support in Hygiene Pronotion under Dhading Disaster Response Programme (DDRP) in Rural area of Dhading district.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering;
- A minimum 2-3 year post qualification experience in construction sector.
- Experience in Monitoring and Supervision of Truss and RCC frame structure buildings and Gravity Flow Rural Water Supply Scheme and knowledge of Hygiene Promotion;
- Knowledge of preparing BOQ, Cost Estimates and Rate Analysis;
- Experience in Design and Analysis of Truss and RCC structures and survey and design of Rural Water Supply Scheme;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Structural Design Software (SAP2000);
- Flexible in terms of working hours, workload and travel;
- Able to work under high pressure;
- Good computer skills and communication skills in Nepali and English language, both written and verbal.
