S.WeCan Nepal is a registered non-government entity operating as an NGO. We are an operational NGO, meaning we plan and carry out boots-on-the-ground projects to accomplish our objectives. This requires a great deal of careful planning, communication, and local involvement for each project. S.WeCan Nepal is an independent registered non-government and nonprofit civil society organization based at Kathmandu, Nepal. S.WeCan Nepal has been carrying a range of interventions in the areas of education, health & hygiene, youth & women empowerment, emergency response & preparedness, governance, free legal aid, human rights, etc. The type of activities undertaken by the organization range from capacity building to service delivery, with focus remaining on the deprived and marginalized segments of the society.

  • Provide an opportunity to interns, to put into practice and deepen their theoretical knowledge of development issues
  • Provide the interns the platform to develop a more grounded understanding of challenges.
  • Give interns an opportunity to learn advocacy, researching, campaigning, networking skills and operational aspects of development work.
  • Provide opportunities to strengthen, scale up and build volunteer programmes
  • Provide exposure for interns to take action their daily lives
  • Enable them to transform into committed volunteers after the internship program.
  • Internship programs are designed to offer exposure to students and working professionals from varied academic and professional backgrounds.
  • The design of an internship depends on both the interest and skill areas of the interns as well as requirements of S.WeCan Nepal.
  • This is an intensive engagement and no stipend is offered. The incidental costs pertaining to the assignment may be covered.

Eligibility criteria :

  • Should be above 18 years of age
