Practical Action is a charity organisation which aims to reduce poverty through wider use of appropriate technologies in the developing world. With head office in UK, it works in more than 45 countries through its offices in Bangladesh, Bolivia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Nepal, Peru, Rwanda, Senegal, Sudan and Zimbabwe. Practical Action seeks to recruit a 'Project Manager' to work with the Agriculture and Markets Programme based in the South Asia Regional Office, Kathmandu.

The incumbent will work under the Strengthening Supply Chain of Construction Materials in Earthquake Affected Districts project funded by the UK Aid from the UK Government through DFID. The incumbent shall deliver and manage project strategies and activities as stated in project document and are responsible in development and articulation of Practical Action's Agriculture and Markets Programme. Minimum qualification required is a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with at least three years of work experience in related field. Proven experience in project management, implementation, finance, human resources and technical backstopping is required. The incumbent will report to the Head of Programme.
