  • Team leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and meet performance goals. Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Sales strategy and planning: Develop and implement sales strategies, goals, and action plans to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with the sales management team to align sales objectives with overall business objectives.
  • Sales target achievement: Monitor individual and team sales performance, track progress against targets, and take corrective actions as needed. Provide guidance and support to help sales representatives achieve their sales goals.
  • Training and development: Identify training needs of the sales team and provide appropriate coaching, training, and resources to enhance their selling skills, product knowledge, and customer relationship management abilities.
  • Sales forecasting and reporting: Analyze sales data, trends, and market conditions to forecast future sales and inventory needs. Prepare sales reports and presentations for management, highlighting performance metrics, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Customer relationship management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients. Assist sales representatives in building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Sales process improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify and implement best practices to optimize sales performance.
  • Market intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Gather market intelligence and provide insights to the sales team and management to support decision-making and sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure alignment and coordination in sales activities, promotions, and customer support.
  • Compliance and ethics: Ensure sales team adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in sales or management are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
