• Establish and maintain clearly defined quality assurance processes, procedures and documentation.
• Actively participate in gathering and analyzing business requirements to devise a thorough test strategy.
• Identify test scenarios and workflows for testing product features.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts and test results.
• Prepare test environment, write and execute test cases and automation scripts.
• Document software defects, monitor resolution efforts and track successes.
• Effectively collaborate with developers and business analysts to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Maintain and apply a working knowledge of testing tools and techniques.
• Adhere to customer release standards and agile practices.

• Experience building and deploying applications in test environments

Desirable Skills:

• Good knowledge of RDBMS systems, ETL tools preferred
• Experience writing SQL queries involving multiple table joins, nested queries, and SQL functions
• Experience working in Linux environment preferred
• Experience with Unix Shell Scripts and languages such as  (Korn Shell, Awk, Python) will be a bonus
• Experience with web automation using Selenium or any other test tool
• Experience working with data storage in complex database systems (MySQL/Postgres SQL/MongoDB/DynamoDB)
• Experience with software configuration and release management processes

• B.E. in Computer Science.
