We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Airline Ticketing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with flight bookings, ticket modifications, and inquiries related to airline travel. Job Specification

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with flight reservations, ticket purchases, and travel inquiries.
  • Address customer questions and concerns promptly, offering solutions and support throughout the booking process.
  • Educate customers on airline policies, procedures, and travel regulations.

Ticketing Operations:

  • Process flight bookings and ticket changes using airline reservation systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus).
  • Issue tickets, confirmations, and receipts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with airline regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fare structures, special offers, and travel restrictions.

Problem Resolution:

  • Handle ticket modifications, cancellations, and refunds according to airline policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues related to flight schedules, availability, and customer complaints.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, transactions, and customer interactions.
  • Assist in managing ticket inventory and ensure timely reporting of sales and operational data.
  • Prepare reports on ticket sales, customer feedback, and operational performance as needed.

Training and Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of airline systems, travel industry trends, and customer service practices.
  • Stay informed about updates in airline policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Education description
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in airline ticketing or customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of airline policies, ticketing procedures, and travel regulations.
