job description
- Knowledge and experience in the support, administration and development on the Microsoft SQL Database Server platforms.
- Database schema and table configuration.
- Secures database by preparing access and control policies and procedures; implementing disaster recovery procedures.
- Plans database upgrades by maintaining, evaluating, and improving a transaction processing model.
- Assesses database performance by developing a protocol for measurement of results and identification of problem areas.
- Content, Helpdesk, Ticketing, Workflow, and Knowledge Management tools and application.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Clustering and Reporting.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Position may require limited on-call status to support system requirements, initiatives, or customer requests after hours and during weekends.
- Support database performance by monitoring database performance; evaluating and resolving processing and programming problems; designing database management tools; answering user questions.
Job Specification
- More than 2 years of relevant experience with SQL Database Management Server will be preferred.
- Handful experience on SQL Server Management Studio.
- Knowledge of Data centric records management.
- Database schema and table configuration with query plan and its execution.
- Knowledge on indices, locking, batch jobs and stored procedure is must.
- Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Database Security, Developing Standards, Database Performance Tuning.
Education description
- Minimum Bachelor Level in IT field is required.
