At Kathmandu Codes, we are looking at delivering top-notch products to our consumers and that involves constantly keeping up with new technology. The development team has the critical job of designing, building and optimizing our core product: the SportsConnect app. The main job duty involves designing the user-interface and developing an iOS application for SportsConnect.

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Design and build applications for iOS
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization

Required Skills include:

• Proficient in Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
• Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Aure Dev Ops}}
• Git and Version Control knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of low-level C# (For APIs) based libraries is a plus
• Azure and CI build tools are also preferred 

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or you have equivalent work experience (Final year students waiting to graduate are encouraged to apply).

• At least one or two projects completed on iOS mobile platform is a must. 
• Macintosh OS Computer/Laptop and iPhone is a must have.
