Plant Manager - Hetauda

Location: Hetauda, Nepal

Job Type: Full-Time

Industry: Manufacturing (Preference for candidates with experience in pipe manufacturing)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Hetauda. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of factory operations, including production, procurement, dispatches, and purchases. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the pipe manufacturing industry.

Job Specification

Key Responsibilities:
- Plant Operations Management:
  - Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure production targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
  - Implement and maintain effective production processes to enhance productivity and quality.
  - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  
- Production Oversight:
  - Manage and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  - Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and consistency.
  - Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

- Procurement and Supply Chain Management:
  - Handle procurement of raw materials and ensure timely availability to avoid production delays.
  - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals and high-quality materials.
  - Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control processes.

- Dispatch and Logistics Management:
  - Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of products as per customer orders.
  - Oversee the preparation and verification of shipping documentation.
  - Optimize logistics operations to minimize costs and improve delivery times.

- Team Leadership and Development:
  - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production and operations staff.
  - Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  - Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications:

- Experience:
  - Proven experience in managing factory operations, with a preference for candidates experienced in pipe manufacturing.
  - Strong knowledge of production, procurement, dispatch, and purchase processes.

- Skills:
  - Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
