Job Summary:

The Sales Manager, with expertise in online bidding and familiarity with the Public Procurement Management Office (PPMO) in Nepal, is responsible for driving substantial sales growth by strategically bidding on government and private sector projects. This role demands an in-depth understanding of the bidding process and procurement regulations in Nepal, coupled with the ability to implement effective sales strategies to secure high-value contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Strategic Sales Development: Formulate and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, expanding the company’s market footprint.
  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and capitalize on bidding opportunities in both government and private sectors.

Online Bidding:

  • Comprehensive Bid Management: Oversee the entire online bidding process, from preparation to submission and follow-up.
  • Competitive Proposal Development: Analyze bid requirements and craft competitive proposals that align with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Bid Tracking and Follow-Up: Monitor the progress of submitted bids and ensure timely and strategic responses to bid invitations.

PPMO Compliance:

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all bidding activities strictly comply with guidelines and regulations set by the Public Procurement Management Office (PPMO) in Nepal.
  • Policy Updates: Stay informed about changes in procurement policies, procedures, and requirements, adapting strategies accordingly.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Strong Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key clients, government officials, and other stakeholders.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

Market Analysis:

  • In-Depth Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to uncover new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support informed strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership:

  • Effective Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team, offering guidance and support to achieve collective sales goals.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Reporting:

  • Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance, bidding activities, and market conditions to senior management.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to refine and enhance sales strategies and outcomes.
