Designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings.

The main job are to:

• Reporting to BOD/ General Manager 
• Industry – Construction 

The main job duties and responsibilities of the Structural Engineer are:-

1. Frame LGS structures and sending it for production. 
2. Co-ordinate with production engineer for production. 
3. Prepare structural drawings. 
4. Prepare construction drawings for site. 
5. Co-ordinate with procurement department/factory for the purchase of structural materials (bolts, plates). 
6. Co-ordinate with site officers for measurement, structural amendments. 
7. Co-ordinate with the architectural team for architectural amendments due to structural requirements. 
8. Quality assurance on site. 
9. Visit sites during milestone activities and when required by the site officers. 
10. Co-ordinate with engineers from government bodies (DOE, DUDBC). 
11. Co-ordinate with client regarding approval, production, dispatch. 
12. Co-ordinate with Project Manager regarding framing, production, procurement, dispatch and construction. 

• Candidates should be competent in IT usages. 
• Candidates should have the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. 
• Candidates should have a keen eye for detail and results-driven approach. 
• Candidates should be proficient with computer-aided drafting software applications. 
• Candidates should have the ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. 
• Candidates should be detail oriented. 
• Candidates should have the planning and organizing skills. 
• Candidates should assist on troubleshoot problems as they arise. 
• Candidates should have the sense of responsibility and ability to enforce decisions. 
• Candidates should be able to work on team. 

• M.Sc. / M.E in structural engineering (preferable) but M.Sc. /M.E (running) can also apply).
