  1. Greet and seat guests:

    • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and provide recommendations if requested.
    • Ensure a pleasant and efficient seating process, taking into account guest preferences and any special requirements.
  2. Take orders and serve food/beverages:

    • Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
    • Take accurate orders from guests, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
    • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
    • Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service:

    • Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
    • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints, and escalate issues as necessary.
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
    • Suggest additional items, such as desserts or beverages, and provide personalized recommendations.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization:

    • Set up tables and ensure they are clean, properly arranged, and appropriately set with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
    • Clear tables efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and cutlery.
    • Reset tables promptly for the next guests, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in work areas, including counters, service stations, and equipment.
  5. Process payments and handle cash:

    • Present accurate bills to guests and process payments using cash, credit cards, or other approved methods.
    • Handle cash transactions, including providing change and processing tips.
    • Maintain cash registers and reconcile daily sales transactions.
  6. Collaborate with the team:

    • Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
    • Assist other team members when needed, such as carrying trays or helping with table setup.
    • Cooperate with colleagues to provide excellent customer service and uphold a positive work environment.
