job description
- Supports existing system by providing technical support and maintenance
- Monitors server and site performance working with a third-party hosting provider
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the architecture for a series of WordPress websites
- Formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and/or plugin
- Remediation of bugs identified that are discovered following site launch
- Applicable changes to WordPress’s content settings that impact site build
- Any updates required due to changes in plugins
Job Specification
- Good knowledge and experience with WordPress, various themes and plugins
- Good understanding of MySQL database
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Experience designing and developing responsive websites designs
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wire frames into working HTML pages
- Should be able to work independently and under pressure
