International Institute for Human Rights, Environment and Development (INHURED International) is a non-profit organization working in the field of human rights. The primary focus of the organization is to advocate on behalf of vulnerable population such as women, children, indigenous people, Dalits, refugees and other marginalized section of the society. For the implementation of a GESI project "Mitigating Conflict and Improving Implementation of Gender and Social Inclusion Policies through a People-to-People Approach in Nepal" supported by The Asia Foundation and USAID, we are conducting a comprehensive assessment and analysis of strengths and gaps between laws, proposed policies and their implementation status in local level, as well as district level performance on key policy provisions for women and Dalits. The assessment is focused on policies, its challenges and issues related to the implementation of the proposed policies that relate to earthquake reconstruction.
