  • Document Control: The primary responsibility of a Documentation Officer is to establish and maintain an efficient document control system. They oversee the creation, revision, distribution, and archiving of documents within the organization. They may develop record retention schedules and oversee the secure destruction of records when necessary.

  • Quality Assurance: Documentation Officers play a crucial role in maintaining quality control and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. They may perform document audits, review processes, and implement corrective actions as needed.
