We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our restaurant team. The candidate must have strong expertise in Chinese and Continental cuisine, and be able to independently handle kitchen operations during rush hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality meals (Chinese, Continental, and Nepali Basnu Khanu).
Manage kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Maintain proper food hygiene, storage, and safety standards.
Control kitchen costs and minimize food wastage.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
Assist in menu planning and inventory management.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience in a reputed restaurant/hotel.
Strong knowledge of Chinese and Continental dishes, along with daily meal (basnu khanu) arrangements.
Ability to manage pressure and multi-task in a busy kitchen environment.
Good leadership, time management, and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
