VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
RTI International, the International Education Division, is currently accepting applications for a full-time Regional Manager (One porition for Itahari Region) to support the Early Grade Reading Program (EGRP), a USAID-funded program to improve early grade reading in Nepal. The program works closely with and supports the Government of Nepal's design and initial implementation of a national education model that standarizes early grade reading in public schools. This position is based in Itahari with expected travel to other target districts.
The Regional Manager will oversee implementation of program activities at the regional level, manage program systems and procedures, provide financial oversight of regional bank accounts, support technical implementation and activities when needed and supervise all staff in the regional office. H/She will be responsible to liaison with government counterparts and other stakeholders to foster good working relationships at the regional level and with the regional offices of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MOEST); liaison with government counterparts at district and Local Education Unit (LEU) level and other stakeholdersl and manage District Coordinators and District Program Officers.
