The Video Editor is responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, training materials, and client projects. The role involves transforming raw footage into engaging videos that align with brand identity and communication goals.
Edit videos for social media, advertisements, promotions, and training content
Assemble raw footage, add transitions, graphics, music, and effects
Collaborate with graphic designers, motion designers, and content teams
Ensure video quality, color correction, and audio synchronization
Maintain brand consistency across all video content
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Revise edits based on feedback from clients or internal teams
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Basic to good knowledge of After Effects
Working knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator for thumbnails and overlays
Understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolutions
Basic color correction and audio editing skills
Strong storytelling and visual sense
Attention to detail and timing
Ability to accept feedback and revise edits
Good communication and teamwork skills
Time management and deadline-oriented
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Film, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Video Editor
Experience editing short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
Knowledge of motion graphics and title animations
Basic cinematography or camera handling knowledge
