  • Conduct individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions to address clients' emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
  • Assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling interventions tailored to each client's unique situation.
  • Help clients explore and understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and assist them in developing coping strategies and solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other documentation, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Stay informed about developments in the field of counseling, including new treatment modalities, research findings, and ethical guidelines, and integrate this knowledge into counseling practice.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops, conferences, and supervision, to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines established by professional counseling associations, such as the American Counseling Association (ACA) or the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
Job Specification

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Counselor to join our team. The Counselor will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups to help them address various emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of human behavior, and the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Other Specific Requirement
  • Master's degree in counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and empathy.
  • Experience working in a  counseling center, hospital, Consultancy or private practice.
  • Specialized training or certification in specific areas of counseling, such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, or couples therapy.
  • Bilingual proficiency in languages commonly spoken by the local community.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing counseling practice, such as HIPAA and confidentiality laws.
