job description
  1. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely submission. Provide insights into financial performance and trends to facilitate decision-making processes.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic financial plans aligned with organizational goals. Monitor variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
  3. Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including profitability, variance analysis, and cost-benefit assessments. Identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement to optimize financial performance.
  4. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Regularly review control procedures and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks.
  5. Audit Management: Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors during audit processes. Prepare audit schedules, respond to inquiries, and implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls and financial reporting processes.
  6. Tax Compliance: Manage tax compliance activities, including preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations. Stay abreast of tax developments and advise on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
