Key Responsibilities:

• Fiber Optic Support: Assist Fiber Technicians with the installation, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables.
• Site Preparation: Prepare work sites by efficiently laying out tools, materials, and equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work complies with industry standards.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of a Fiber Technician.
• Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment systematically.
• Documentation: Accurately document work performed and materials used.
• Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Site Cleanup: Assist in cleaning up job sites and ensure they are left in a safe and orderly condition.
• Ongoing Learning: Attend training sessions and stay updated on the latest technologies and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Height and Weather Tolerance: Capable of working at heights and in diverse weather conditions.
• Manual Dexterity: Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment effectively.

• Driver’s License: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Educational Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Knowledge: Basic understanding of fiber optics and telecommunications is a plus.
