1. Debt Recovery
- Contacting outside valley riders with outstanding debts to negotiate payment terms and arrangements.
- Utilizing various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and letters, to ensure prompt debt recovery.
- Implementing effective debt recovery strategies to maximize collection success rates.
2. Daily Collection Reporting:
- Recording all collections accurately and promptly in the designated system.
- Generating daily collection reports and summarizing the amount recovered.
- Analyzing collection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
3. Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date records of all debt recovery activities.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards during the recovery process.
- Documenting all communication with outside valley riders regarding debt recovery efforts.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Liaising with management to provide regular updates on debt recovery progress.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as finance and legal, to resolve complex debt recovery issues.
- Providing feedback and recommendations to management for improving debt recovery processes.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Recovery Officer. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently recover outstanding debts from outside valley riders while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing daily collection reports, and effectively communicating with management regarding recovery progress.
- Bachelor's degree or running in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in debt recovery, preferably in a financial or lending institution.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications and debt management software.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to debt collection is an advantage.
