Job Responsibilities:  The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for all patients and visitors. This role requires exceptional communication skills, organizational abilities, and basic medical knowledge to provide a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Interaction & Communication

    • Greet and assist patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
    • Answer calls, screen inquiries, and provide accurate information on services and appointments.
    • Handle patient concerns empathetically and guide them effectively.
    • Collect, verify, and maintain patient information confidentially, including health and insurance details.
  • Appointment Management

    • Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments seamlessly.
    • Ensure accurate coordination of the daily appointment calendar.
    • Communicate promptly with patients about changes or cancellations.
  • Administrative Support

    • Manage mail, deliveries, and daily clinic correspondence.
    • Maintain patient records, invoices, and receipts with precision.
    • Update and manage the patient database, adhering to confidentiality standards.
  • Medical Coordination

    • Liaise between patients, medical staff, and administrative teams.
    • Assist patients with treatment guidance, medication details, and post-treatment care instructions.
    • Monitor and coordinate the inventory of medical supplies.
  • Reporting & Documentation

    • Maintain accurate records of patient registrations, transactions, and daily clinic operations.
    • Prepare and submit timely reports on client flow, sales, and staff performance.
    • Ensure updated OPD and billing records.
  • Facility Management

    • Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean and organized at all times.
    • Oversee stock levels of medical and non-medical supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Education description

Education Qualification and Experience: 

  • Intermediate
  • Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting
